A tight schedule, a strong presence: Exceptional façade design for Nobilia kitchens
Nobilia has been relying on our services since 2015. Europe's largest kitchen manufacturer produces around 727,000 kitchens per year! That's 3,300 kitchens and 33,000 different types per day - so it's no wonder that the East Westphalian family-run company will be presenting a whole host of new products at the trade fairs. For the consumer trade fairs in Cologne (Living Kitchen) and Milan (Eurocucina), which take place alternately every year, we were again able to assume responsibility for setting up the 800 sqm trade fair stand in 2019. For our project team, the task was to turn Nobilia's planning into reality as quickly as possible: There were only 6 weeks between commissioning and start of assembly. Within this time, a 1:1 mockup of a 5-metre-long façade including lighting was produced. This is precisely what the kitchen manufacturer is focusing on: the Nobilia stands stand out clearly from the neighbouring stands at all trade fairs thanks to their unusual design and elaborate illumination with plays of light and shadow on the façade. Our team was also responsible for the areas of lighting/rigging, LED video technology, floor construction including coverings, furnishing and the construction of the hospitality area.
A demanding task that the crew mastered with flying colours: the customer was impressed by both the fast implementation and the usual good quality of execution. Our team did everything in its power to turn Nobilia's ideas and designs into reality - including short-term adjustments during the ongoing project, which were implemented pragmatically and solution-oriented.
This high flexibility on the part of Hardeweg as well as the uncomplicated, direct coordination with the fitters of Nobilia during the construction and dismantling phase ensured that the project was not only successfully completed but was also a real pleasure for all partners involved - an optimal basis for further cooperation.
